McManus, NCAC is a National Certified Addictions Counselor. Pat is the Founder and President
of Rock In Prevention. He graduated from Upper Iowa University with a
Bachelor of Science, Business Management degree. Pat created this uplifting, evidence-based, national award winning program in 1990. Rock In Prevention creatively uses music as a teaching tool to help children live to their fullest potential. Prior to founding Rock In Prevention, Pat worked as a counselor with addicted teens in treatment for seven years. Pat combined his strong desire to help children avoid the first use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs, his counseling experience and his love for music, to help over 1,000,000 children and families. The program today is being introduced to schools and youth serving agencies across the United States.
